The frictionless way to create content daily in 2024

Video content is going big in 2024.

With the reduced attention spans of consumers, it has become a necessity for the creators — both personal and business — to optimise video content creation.

Let’s be real video content creation is daunting.

So then how do creators (like myself) keep up with their consistency?

They have a system.

A system of creating content fast and frictionless way and today I will share 3 steps that you can follow too.

Have an idea bank ready at all times.

In the past 1 year of content creation, one thing that has worked for me is to have a notion database of all the topics on which I can create content. Now these topics may be inspired by other creators, from different niches, a topic that popped up in my head at an unholy hour or something that my audience demanded in the Ask Me Anything feature.

Having these ideas will help you kickstart your batch content creation. You can then get the content scripted way ahead of time.

It will also help you analyse what type of brand you are building online.

If the questions, resonate with your brand voice and tone, it means your content so far, is doing the right job.

Learn editing

Most times, we think, we need to hire an editor to make our videos Alex Hormozi style.

Listen, you are not Alex Hormozi, he is he. You are you.

You need to develop your style of editing your videos.

At first, it will be a daunting task to edit the videos, but basic mobile software like Capcut, VN video editor, Filmora and even iMovie can help.

It would help if you learned how to play around with edits and push your content as much as you can. In this stage, it is important to remind yourself that perfectionism is a myth and you need to work on your skills over time. So push out your first video.

Your content will improve over time.

Seek Help. Don’t outsource.

When you are starting as a content creator, it is important to let your personality shine through your online presence. A classic rookie mistake is to hire someone to do it for you in the initial stages. No one else can build your brand for you.

If you hire a social media manager for your page, it won’t help you in the creator journey. Unless you are a venture capitalist, business owner, or a renowned person who barely has any time for social media.

Being a creator means understanding yourself more and then weaving your content around it while progressing each day.

The more hands-on experience you have with your content, the better you will become at your craft.

It is good to get on mentorship or consultation to get a third person’s perspective on your thought process, rather than completely outsourcing your online image.

In the end…

Practice. Practice. Practice.

One constraint that you might have is that you are camera shy.

Not an issue. I am not asking you to create content by facing the camera. If it doesn’t work for you, it’s okay.

Instead, you can have a library of b-rolls that you can shoot over some time and then use them to create voice-overs. Simple, right?

Once you have the topic, you have shot, and you have edited, the idea is to practice your craft. It will become easy for you to get lost when the world is trying to do different things at different times.

But with practice, you will understand what you (truly) want, what works for you and how you are doing to get it.

In the past year, I have changed my strategy of Instagram, over 5 times. The reason was simple, I would find something, practice it, and then simply outgrow it.

As humans, it is okay to evolve. It is not that complicated.
